| Portland
City Hall
For Portland, the new City Hall
was the culmination of a strong, clear vision and years
of careful planning. Constructed in the heart of a
historic downtown, the new building blends seamlessly
with the distinctive architecture of renovated surrounding
buildings. This has been artfully accomplished using
a combination of split face and brick masonry on the
lower portion of the building, complemented by an
EIFS plaster system and ornate metal cornice work
above.
The building houses the city’s administrative
offices and Council Chambers, and incorporates a convenient
drive-up window for utility payments. The second floor
of the building was designed to accommodate future
needs as Portland grows. |
