East
Holland
Veterinary Clinic
Five times larger than its former
facility, the new East Holland Veterinary Clinic features
four examination rooms, an x-ray room, treatment room,
surgery room, and pharmacy. The new building also boasts
a large reception area,
offices and generous kennel space for both
dogs and cats. Specified interior materials, coatings
and finishes, such as epoxy-coated floors, are not
only durable and ease to clean, but are also visually
appealing.
The new clinic was built on property
adjacent to East Holland’s former facility,
which was later demolished to create a new parking
lot. Construction began in October 2007 with demolition
of a home east of the existing clinic.
As winter approached and work
continued, a portion of the new parking lot was paved
for use by the existing clinic. In April 2008, after
a smooth “across
the yard” move, the new clinic became operational, and the former clinic
was demolished to complete the parking area.
With careful planning, the clinic
was able to remain open during the entire project with
little disruption, and was completed within the owner’s desired timeline.
