The building that houses this
company was originally built as a highly-specialized tool and die facility. Reinforced
floors supported large trial presses used for testing
huge automotive dies. The building frame supports
large overhead cranes used to move dies to the
presses. Sensitive electronic equipment is protected
in climate controlled areas of the shop.
Now occupied by a specialized packaging firm, the front of the building is
two stories (10,000 square feet) of gracious office
space. There are meeting rooms, presentation areas
and private offices finished in rich oak woodwork.
The building is a fine example of blending a pre-engineered
building with conventional glass, masonry, and plaster
construction.
