Both the building and site for West Michigan Auto Auction were designed for temporary storage and sale of pre-owned vehicles. It has large parking lots for vehicles being prepared for weekly auctions.

The interior of the structure is designed with multiple lanes for drive-through car sales. It features a large cafeteria and lobby for buyers and staff. It also includes office and write-up areas, and a wash and service check area.
